According to some websites that sell these loupes, pulling up the eyepiece tube is called "zooming in," meaning increasing magnification. NOT SO! There is only one increase. Pulling out the eyepiece just physically moves the focus point higher > RECOMMEND - my 30x loupe (30x all-metal jeweler's loupe with light, XYK pocket folding loupe with loupe and LED light (jeweler identifies loupe type)) is much more powerful, offers crisp image with a much wider field of view. MY EXPERIENCE > I ordered one (with free shipping) and received it from China in about a week. Unfortunately the item I received was shipped from China in a small plastic envelope leaving the box badly crumpled which reduced the value of the gift > Then almost a month ago I ordered 10 - as a Christmas stocking. -Children's toys - and apparently delivered by canoe from China (actually it turned out to be Singapore). For $15 shipping, the packaging was still just a plastic envelope. Each box was partially severely crushed, reducing the value of the gift.
