COVID-19 has increased the number of trips back and forth from home and the office and a better solution had to be found to make it easier to move my laptop back and forth. How could I make it possible to get started instead of wasting time unplugging and reconnecting all my connections (second screen, mouse, keyboard, speakers etc.) EVERYTHING. SINGLE. TIME? Enter the Accell USB-C 4K Docking Station without drivers. I have a high quality laptop but it doesn't come with Thunderbolt so laptop charging isn't supported by this dock (which is normal. I wouldn't be able to use it if it were), all else I need is there. The price might be a bit high, but so far it's worth every penny as it makes day-to-day transitions smooth and efficient. Set up was child's play too! I have yet to try this on my Android phone, but if the feature works as smoothly as it does on a laptop, it shouldn't be a problem. If you have the money to buy this product and Thunderbolt is not for you, choose Accell! ********** Update: We were having trouble connecting to the internet using a wired ethernet connection and had to contact tech support to resolve the issue. The solution was to update drivers and tweak settings, making the "no drivers" claim a bit misleading. Ultimately I have no complaints, their IT was helpful and thorough (once I found a good way to contact them I skipped the Revain contact method and went straight to the Accell website.) and helped me sort everything out. a way.
