I installed this part on a 2003 Honda Pilot because I wanted to see if a simple resistor change would fix my fan, it did not work. It was a cheap part so I took the risk of replacing a more expensive fan. Replacing this part didn't work so I decided to replace my existing fan with one from a junkyard which solved my fan problem. However, after about a day or two, I noticed that my fan was running constantly, even when the air conditioner was off. I replaced the new resistor with the one I removed and that fixed the constant fan problem. I suspect the item was damaged in shipping so I'll let others who have similar results know it could be a resistor issue.
