I bought this adjustable laptop desk so I can work on my laptop while standing (rather than sitting). The surface of the table top has a beautiful look and feel of wood. In fact, the whole block seems pretty solid (when I bought it I was afraid it would feel flimsy or wobbly, but it's not). Height adjustment relies on the button on either side to adjust leg height with preset notches, ensuring each side is the same height. Angle adjustment works the same way, with pre-set notches to ensure each side is at the same angle and locks into place. The height and angle adjustment is intuitive and very easy to use; I don't think anyone needs instructions to understand them. The desk has a built-in fan that connects to your laptop via a USB cable (if you wish to use one) to keep your laptop cool. The fan is quiet, but you can tell it's working because it creates a gentle breeze when you put your hand on it. The table folds very flat - when folded its height is 2 inches. The table is quite light so it can be easily moved from room to room and stowed away when not in use. All in all, this is a good addition to a laptop.
