I wish I could give 3 stars, but I can't: These bulbs are bright and stay relatively cool while they operate. The color temp is pretty high, and they look very blue-white but not so much that they don't look legal.But that's where the good news stops.- There is no high beam on these bulbs. There is a third prong on the plug, but the bulb operates in one mode regardless of high- or low-beam setting in the vehicle. (minus 1 star)- The light pattern is not the same as a filament bulb, and pretty obviously not legal for street use. The array of leds on the sides of the metal bulb give a round light pattern, but there's no cut-off so that the light doesn't shine in the eyes of oncoming drivers. I parked my car about 10 feet from a garage door and measured, and the projected light is more or less a six-foot circular pattern with lots of dots to the edges. Oncoming drivers will think you have hibeams on all the time. (minus another star)- One of the bulbs has a loose connection, and 2-3 leds blink out every few minutes. (strike 3.)
