they run cool, and they're extremely easy to install

These bulbs are bright, they run cool, and they're extremely easy to install. Unfortunately, the LEDs are too far from the focal point of most headlight reflectors, and the light leaving the vehicle is in a very wide pattern instead of a beam. The high beams on the ones I got work OK, but due to the focus problem, they don't put as much light on the road, where it's needed, as their incandescent counterparts.

Pros
  • No bad the all. I got then to do a project and it works great.
Cons
  • These lasted maybe 6 months.. was expecting a lot better results.

I bought this for my 1992 Madza MPV and I'm thrilled to say that this is best product I have used for the LED. In this 1992 Madza MPV, all the lights; Day Running Lights (DRL), Low beam and High beam work from the same bulb and ALL are working perfectly well. I highly recommend this product to everyone whose car takes this type of bulb.

I wish I could give 3 stars, but I can't: These bulbs are bright and stay relatively cool while they operate. The color temp is pretty high, and they look very blue-white but not so much that they don't look legal.But that's where the good news stops.- There is no high beam on these bulbs. There is a third prong on the plug, but the bulb operates in one mode regardless of high- or low-beam setting in the vehicle. (minus 1 star)- The light pattern is not the same as a filament bulb, and pretty…

Don't waste your time or money.

I would leave no stars if I could. These lights are not bright at all. I would be better off riding down the road with the flashlight on my phone.

They have their place, just not in your car.

The good:Direct fit replacement for a 9004 bulb. No external power supply for a fan system. Did not take a second longer to install than a standard bulb replacement.The Bad:Not bright at all. I estimate they are about as bright as standard halogen bulbs at best.The Ugly:They splash light all over the place. I am illuminating the birds in the trees, not the road.
