I bought two of these fans. It took me 2 to 3 hours to install the first one (no breaks). The second, after the learning curve started, took about an hour I think. That's very pleasant. Technology has come a long way since I installed my old fans nine years ago. The board is amazing. I was hoping to control each fan separately, but since both of my fans are connected to the same circuit, I couldn't figure out how to do separate programming. But now the fact that they both work from the same console and are essentially twins doing the same thing together is probably even cooler. The lights sync, dim together, and both fans run at the same speed simultaneously. I've only had them two days and will update my review if anything changes, but so far I like them. One thing I would recommend, and have done for this and any fan I install in the future, is to use Loctite on the screws that hold the fan blades to the motor. The old fans I replaced with these would have the screws loosening, causing the fans to wobble and shake. With a light kit on the fan, the screws are very difficult to tighten and then loosen again anyway. So Loctite is cheap insurance.
