These are the most comfortable socks I have ever worn. They're soft and hug the arch of the foot, while an additional tongue protects the Achilles tendon above the heel. I have severe pain in my Achilles tendon so this extra pillow was better than any other sock I have found. I've worn them on long airport trips and these socks have helped me feel comfortable in my tennis shoes. My feet weren't too hot or sweaty. When my feet swelled on the plane, these socks stretched out and didn't cut into me at all or interfere with circulation. Now I will buy them for me and my daughter and never go back to Hanes socks! These socks hug my feet like a cloud!
