Review on TrickleStar Advanced 7 Outlet Energy Saving PowerStrip: Surge Protector with 2160 Joules and 4 Foot Cord by Chris Cruz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This TS1003 vs. the more common TS1104 listing

This TrickleStar TS1003 has a 4ft cord vs 2ft for the similar and more common Revain listing - TS1104. It also absorbs twice as much pulse energy as TS1104. With the Denon AV receiver AVR-S950H, the switching works as expected. I had to set the switch sensitivity to the middle position so that it would turn off when the AVR went into standby. The unit appears to be larger in width and depth than it needs to be (by far the largest seven outlet strip I've come across unless it was an equipment rack mount strip. Also, the 3 LEDs are *very *bright - brighter than I would like for this app Update: The "power off" LED on mine stopped glowing after about two months TrickleStar was very quick to send out replacement ribbon extension cords and was able to talk to everyone who had wall mount power supplies Agree on how large the wall wart should be and how it should be oriented so that multiple wall warts can be used in each outlet without blocking adjacent outlets.
