I have ordered other items from this company on Vine and appreciate each and every one. This is a giant, heavy spool of brightly colored rope - not for the tinkerer or the faint of heart. Or weak muscles, for that matter. After inspection before use, it is one continuous length with no joints. The shell was rolled up to test the inner core, which is made of woven nylon. As mentioned, its diameter is 3/4 inch. Never use it as a rescue rope or lifting rope but for lowering limbs as listed it does a good job. It has been used on limbs from 300 to 400 pounds with no problems, no visible wear or damage. will melt. It has a medium stretch. For a few trees in your area or infrequent use, it will suit you. Commercial use? It will not take the required number of hours. good for docking lines and other attachments.
