The globalization of headphones requires a level of complexity that is not particularly high. The finishing touches on the headphones include an exhaustive overhaul of the magnetic system as well as an exhaustive dampening process. In my situation, the housing for the magnetic system was modified, and now it has five magnets distributed over two sides. There are currently 6 magnets available, with a total of 3 magnets on each side. I started by removing the conventional dampers, then the drivers themselves, and finally the cups of the casing, which had been covered with a felt that was quite dense. The tremendously powerful sound has undergone a positive transformation! HiFiMAN HE400se, combine them in every possible way; there is no competition. It's hard for me to fathom how something as thin and little as a membrane can generate such a significant amount of sound. If you like the sound of the Fostex T50RP in its stock configuration, you are going to go absolutely wild for them after the mod. If recreating the magnetic system proves to be really challenging for you, then it will be sufficient for you to at least throw away the gratings on which the magnets are positioned. Important! It is necessary to drill it from both sides in order to create a membrane that is as porous as feasible. Unquestionably monotonous on both fronts! I watched as some people read about the modification of Fostex, and then proceeded to do all of the mistakes that were described. On the one hand, they believe that it is sufficient to simply waste the driver. In general, the driver bore and damping are the basic minimum that must be present in order to unleash around 60β70% of the potential of these headphones. This is a fantastic treasure for someone who works with metal, it's a modified Fostex T50RP. The drums are a direct assault on the ears. In a ruthless, potent, and profound manner. Bass level, softly adjustable dampening. The lows do not interfere with the midrange or the treble in any way. Standard Fostex headphones, in contrast to other headphones, have an exceptionally strong midrange. Following the application of the mod, the mids have gotten much fuller and more detailed, with an even greater and more ludicrous amount of drive! While using HF, everything works perfectly, the brain is not sawed, and the signals do not become muddled like they are when HiFiMAN processes the metal. There is something to compare them to, as I had the HiFiMAN HE400se and the Fostex T50RP. Due to the fact that the T50RP was modified, this is now considered to be a higher level. After the completion of the global update to the second, HiFiMAN immediately departed for the secondary. The tube and hybrid VCL, ak4490 DAC, which belongs to the author, is the source from which the headphones get their power.
