Soft aroma, almost imperceptible. Absorbs quickly. Puts out fire after shaving beans. I have never used aftershave. But last summer I started shaving my head and found that my scalp was uncomfortable. It moisturizes without being greasy. Not much shine and no flakes or hot spots. Love it.
