At first I was hesitant to buy this product because of so many bad reviews. I'm actually glad I did it. Of course, these products aren't super-sharp, high-end salon tools, but they do what I wanted them to do. I get the most out of the cuticle remover (third thinner from the right in the picture). You just wipe over it and the dry, dead skin that forms on the sides and front corners of my nails comes off. This tool is the biggest difference between a mediocre home manicure and a professional home manicure. A large cuticle trimmer that looks like a wishbone isn't that effective to me because it's not spring loaded so you need good dexterity to open and close it with each clip. Clippers are no worse than anyone else. Bought. They cut quickly and cleanly with no effort to get a clean cut. The scissors are one of the highest quality parts of this set - they are very strong and sharp. The overall organization of this set is impressive! I was even able to fit another tool or two into that case and close it. The case is beautiful, although as shown in the picture it is pink rather than lavender. It has a slightly foamy/soft texture and is thin and light enough to fit in a handbag. I totally recommend it to my friends because it packs everything you need with decent quality in a handy adorable body.
