Applying to skin with a wooden spatula/stick takes some trial and error to get the technique right but once you get the hang of it it definitely is works as it should. Instead of buying a crucible, I used a ceramic bowl and heated it in the microwave. I would suggest if you plan to do this to make sure you have a video showing how much it needs to be melted. If it is not melted enough, the product will not work. Overall happy with this purchase.
