I will be coaching soccer this spring and wanted to give my girls a chance to play before the season started. I bought this set because it includes everything except the racquet and we bought the net for my eldest son which still looks new after two years of use. The bases are numbered, which is a great help for my youngest, who doesn't play sports but knows her numbers to avoid making mistakes. It could also be because she's left-handed. The t-shirt is thick rubber and appears to be lasting longer than the one we had to replace. It is more stable and does not fall off with every hit. I don't see any difference between the newer soft core powernet baseballs and the older soft core adidas balls other than the red powernet logo.
