Review on ๐Ÿ”ช PomeloHome 8-Inch Stainless Steel Chef's Knife - German High Carbon Steel Blade by Diane Diaz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Looks great but I don't like the shape of the handle

The coolest thing about this knife is that it's a single piece of metal from tip to handle. This appeals to me in terms of durability, especially as I'm in the process of parting with a set of knives from other brands as their handles are falling apart. I couldn't tell from the product photos, but the shape of the knife handle is roughly triangular: thinner at the bottom than at the top. It looks cool in photos but ergonomically it's not the best for me because the surface area is smaller than what I'm used to gripping on the underside of a knife. I hold my knife with a pincer grip rather than wrapping my four fingers around the grip, so the issue is negligible. sharpness for a long time. Only time will tell how long it will retain its sharpness, but it can always be sharpened or re-sharpened. It's sharp out of the box but not as sharp as other new knives I've bought recently. It doesn't cut through things as easily as I'd like, but it's pretty good.
