I hated the thought of buying shorts (or any kind of pants) without trying them on. You just never know. But I found them quite wearable. I wanted nylon shorts with a 15cm inseam and these were close enough. I usually wear pants with a 32" or 33" waist and these fit perfectly. The tip is uncomfortable to use and gets in the way when not in use. But I don't want to delete it completely. I only use a belt and try to ignore the drawstring. And yet it was a desire that overcame my reluctance to buy a pig in a poke. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.
