I have a couple pairs of these cargo shorts, a couple of 5 inch running shorts and a couple of unlined and four basketball briefs and they're all well made. The pockets are functional. And they come in a variety of colors. I really like them, and it's also great that the Chinese made product (I guess) has a decent name and logo to match. If you're patient, they often show up in the sale of the day for a few bucks less, but in my opinion, they're worth the non-sale price.

When I received these shorts I didn't really think about them with elastic back and drawstring. Well, let me tell you that I totally underestimated her. They are amazing, ordered more. I love them, if you eat a lot the shorts will stretch with your body. I hated the thought of buying shorts (or any kind of pants) without trying them on. You just never know. But I found them quite wearable. I wanted nylon shorts with a 15cm inseam and these were close enough. I usually wear pants with a 32" or 33" waist and these fit perfectly. The tip is uncomfortable to use and gets in the way when not in use. But I don't want to delete it completely. I only use a belt and try to ignore the drawstring. And yet it was a desire that overcame my reluctance to buy

I have bought several pairs of these shorts and although they are comfortable and very light the Seams are very thin which caused my bag to tear the first day I put it on. I wore it for about 6 hours while just running errands (no exercises or anything that would damage clothes) and by the end of the day the bag was torn. The stitching has come undone - there are no tears or anything on the fabric itself. Pretty disappointing. I hope the other pairs I've ordered last longer.

I like the material and the pockets but the zipper and clasp don't work well. The clasp likes to turn and that's only a problem when you put them on. I think I would have preferred a button but maybe there's a reason they didn't use it. I'm not an engineer lol. Once it's closed, it stays closed, so it doesn't matter. Because the material is so light, the zipper also tends to lift the material rather than self-zipping, requiring you to hold on to the bottom. Not a big deal either, but nothing…

I love the fabric and while 2 of the 4 pairs I bought were as expected, 2 pairs had defective clasps. Attached are photos of a pair with the cap screwed in so badly they are literally worthless. Waste of money ($30 per pair). I was able to zip on a pair to keep and use but as shown (compared to photos of what the zip should look like) I'll have to throw away a new pair of good shorts. I really like these shorts and this isn't the first thing I've gotten from Baleaf. The length is good, the fit is good, they are very comfortable to stand, sit, walk. Haven't done much else but imagine they would be good for hiking, tennis or basketball courts, or in-line skating. The only downside I have is that I expected them to have 4 front pockets like traditional cargo shorts.
