Review on Silicone Steam Release Diverter Accessory by Anthony Wilson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's a good idea, but...

This is a good little idea. Durable silicone nozzle for removing noxious fumes from cabinets and front surfaces. However, it does not fit snugly against the pressure relief piston. That means the first jet of steam shoots the silicone diverter like a rocket right off the Instant Pot lid. You really have to hold it with your fingers for it to work. After all, the silicone is heat-resistant, so you don't burn yourself. But be careful not to twist it the wrong way and don't loosen your grip or you'll definitely burn yourself! Sounds like too much effort for a simple lamp? Well it is! So, to recap: Good materials, good concept, but poor fit and execution. If there's something that costs a little more and fits snugly, buy it!

Pros
  • Kitchen Saver - This silicone deflector directs the steam from the lid handle into your home and not into the cupboard or wall that gets soft and damp or moldy.
Cons
  • Some problems
