Suitable for horses

I live in Florida so I have a problem with bugs. There was no nose guard in my mask. I'm not sure why. The ear pads are elastic, but if your horse has a large jaw, like anything larger than average, the underside won't close well. Literally half an inch of velcro covering the butt isn't enough to hold on well - and my mare doesn't have a huge head. The part behind the ears is the warmest and she sweats quite a bit. I'm still looking for the perfect mask.
