Review on LUCID 7-Inch Covers with Securing Rubber Grips: Zippered Enclosure & Machine Washable Mattress Elevator Encasement, 7 Inch, White by Jeff Diaz

I bought a cover for our 5" lifter to protect it from damage. I wanted to keep my fingers and nails from tearing off pieces of styrofoam when making sheets and blankets. The cover (2x Twin XL) is made of thin material with non-slip nubs on the perimeter and has a nylon zip on both sides. It's not easy to put on. We followed the seller's advice to get the wedge right way round. It was definitely a plus to have two people. We had to do the first cover twice to get the stitching right. We've found that with the gusset on the side, it's easier to zip up the long edge (note the zipper runs along the top of the gusset). The foam was too long and wavy and folded at the bottom so we cut off about 1.5 inches to make sure it lay flat. Very easy with normal scissors. The case does what I bought it for. In addition, the mattress and wedge did not move.
