Works as advertised. I use a pair of these boots on a broodmare with a chronic abscess. She has treated them well and can walk in them. She wears them out to pasture about 14 hours a day and I alternate between two different pairs to keep me clean and dry. When using boots for abscesses or hoof injuries, be sure to consider the hoof wrap when determining the correct size. I had to order a barefoot size to accommodate the hoof wrap/wrap. One problem is that dirt/dust/dirt can accumulate in boots. It seems to be coming from the drain holes in the bottom part rather than the hole in the zip tie. Warning: break in your boots over time to avoid pressure points and chafing.
