Bought these to play around with a future projector project. I took the stand 9006 yellow. I don't have a real case to test them out yet, but I took some photos for fun.1. The color is the more common "yellow" we see today, not the "amber" years ago. It may contain some green, but it's better than the "white" (lots of blue) result with a yellow filter, which is often used when trying to get yellow fog. For me it is a bit better in color and not bad.2. Exit. The photos are compared to a 37 watt lamp in the correct configuration, so the brightness is not a fully accurate comparison. It's close to something between a 55-watt headlight and a 65-watt high beam. BUT the yellow color can fool my eyes. Let's just say it compares well to the 65w halogen except it's all yellow.3. Focus. It's very close to 6 feet. At 60, things probably look a little sloppy. You can see a few things in the picture. First, the ceiling is decent, but at 60 feet it will be blinding. You may need to point the lights down a bit. It's head and shoulders above HID inserts. However, the distance distribution is lost. With a halogen you can see there is a thin top line with more light so you can work from a distance. There is also a good central hotspot. With an LED, none of these aspects are noticeable. This applies to any LED, not just this brand.
