Review on Enhance Your Music Experience with Polk Audio AM6911-A Omni P1 Wireless Wi-Fi Music Streaming Adapter by Wendy Zhao

I purchased this product with the understanding that the Polk brand would provide an excellent product and listening experience. Unfortunately I found that wrong. Omni P1 has serious flaws. I'm quite a tech savvy person, but this device isn't configuring properly over the air and isn't accepting updates. I even tried the "manual" process using a memory card and downloading zipped updates but to no avail and the system didn't update. The instructions both in the box and on the Internet are miserable. Help Desk is not Polk but a third party. The first person I spoke to didn't even know what a P1 product was and promised an "executive" would get in touch to help me. It never happened. I called back a week later. Again, the tech support person had limited experience with the Omni line and had issues with the P1. The second supporter couldn't solve the problem either and even hung up as soon as it became clear that he couldn't solve the problem. I am sending it back and will never venture into the world of Polk Audio again. There are many other options with companies that have much better WiFi product development and customer service reputations (such as Sonos).
