The thing makes my life a lot easier, the socket next to my bed is too low, only has two normal sockets and is practically blocked by my headrest. I mounted Superdanny on the wall next to my bed. I'm happy with that. The only downside is that it makes whiny electronic noises for a few minutes from time to time. It's not loud enough to wake me up, but sometimes I hear it when I'm trying to sleep, so I had to turn it off a few times. The on/off button is excellent by the way, the backlight of the button is soft and not annoying. Also, I can charge all of my handheld and portable devices using any of the four USB ports, and two outlets work just as well as any regular outlet. Finally, I find it too bulky for travel.
