It has no zippers, which is by far my biggest complaint about most soft pet carriers. My two cats can and will push the zippers apart with their noses, put their paws in and open everything. I bought my own zips so it's not a deal breaker but it's frustrating they didn't take this into account. A few other people have mentioned having trouble getting the bladder in; I did that too, and it comes with almost no instructions. You do NOT need to unscrew the black border (around the bubble). You'll need to reach it with your nails or fingers or something else that you can pry under the edge of the black circle (that is, between it and the fabric) and pull off. Then put the dome on and put the black frame back on. I don't like that it's a pop up style but I had to pull quite hard and I really don't think the cat could just pop it out on its own. Someone else mentioned that the bubble could make them incompatible with the airline's size and that they had no alternative. I'm not sure if they just weren't enough; mine COMES with a black plastic mesh insert that can be used in place of a bladder, which is very convenient. I don't think any airline would make a fuss about a bubble, but it would still be nice to have one on hand. It comes with a shoulder strap (not attached in the photo) and is big enough that I plan to use it for my giant feline pet, although I don't know how well the bottom will hold up while staying flat - it seems so it could sag underneath and bend fairly quickly. However, he weighs less than 20 pounds, so it might be fine. I will say I received this and another cat carrier on the same day and this one is longer and I think better shaped which I appreciate. Gray and orange-red won't make an attractive duo no matter what you do with it, but it's a nice medium and if it had more fun colors I'd probably buy others. When it arrived it didn't have a strong odor, which I appreciated; Another brand I got smelled like paint thinner. Definitely a good solid choice - gets the nod from that neurotic cat mom (assuming you buy her zips!) 🙂
