Injustice!

Horrific injustice of the Holocaust! The first 6 chapters hummed non-stop, repeating the same information over and over until your mind went numb and not even remotely explained anything. what happened in the concentration camp in his backyard or what his father did. Some of the events in the book were left to the reader's imagination rather than being a lesson, however depressing they may be. The whole holocaust was covered up and the book is more of a story about the everyday life of little boys. It could be placed anywhere. The boy in the striped pajamas was hardly a character, his role ridiculously small given the book's title. Because of the repetition of unnecessary side stories and details, this seems like a story a kid would write in English class. A high school student could take this idea and make it fairer.
