Review on Skytech Gaming Shiva HDMI Gaming Desktop: A Powerful Build for Enhanced Gaming Experience by Rhyan Olson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Hardware is very incompatible

My family bought 2 of these computers in the last month. 1st liked it very much. nvme m.2 ssd, msigaming x rgb graphics card with metal backplate, g.skill rgb ram. was really impressed by it. I really want it. 2. PNY Geforce RTX 2070 fan-style graphics card. I despise fan maps as they tend to have terrible thermals. a basic SATA SSD which is a bit disappointing but it's whatever and probably the cheapest sticks of 3000MHz Oloy RAM you can shove into it. Literally $50 lamb. after taxes it's $1500.00 and some changes. The first computer, I would say, was worth it. The second, while working well, was definitely NOT what I was looking to buy. I prefer to build myself. 2 different people collected. I had the key and took care of it. the other simply collected the cheapest and most useless things and shipped them together. and if anyone is interested in the brand of motherboard then this is asrock b450m ac i believe it is also 3000 ready according to asrocks website. In short, it's a $1,500 coin toss. both computers, a homemade would be technically feasible. maybe even a little over $1,500 depending on the tower. However, the first is vastly superior in terms of hardware, thermal performance and aesthetics. When I bought this computer I was aware that the graphics card brand might differ but I didn't expect it to have a fan card and it wasn't supposed to, hence the 3 star rating. However, I would like to point out that the design of the towers with a mesh front panel and fan configuration offers amazing airflow and the cable management on both computers is as perfect as it gets.
