They are made of hard plastic so look very strong and can hold a decent weight. The problem is that they are not durable. They break after a few months. It's not because they've been in use all the time and taken a lot from the strain. On the contrary, they sat empty and broke very easily when I tried to hang something on them. Good idea, terrible execution.
