I have large hands and needed a cutter that I could control closely and make good cuts. That's exactly what I got. The handle has 4 different positions. If you unscrew the oil cap you will find that there is a washer on the palm rest and you can adjust the tongue to two positions and the washer to two positions giving 4 different heights for the rest. Adjust this grip so that you can operate the tool comfortably. I also found that I could mount the head tighter, but if you loosen the set screw and not use the slot to park the set screw, you can improve your ability to steer the torch around corners. However, remember to manually lubricate the wheel if the head is locked in such a way that the oil pump does not work.
