I don't know why I had this problem, but it repeatedly misinterpreted the dimensions of a particular room. The other measurements were extremely accurate, so I'm not sure what makes the readings inaccurate in this room. It was always a wall. I would like to warn you that if the measurement is critical you should probably double check before ordering any flooring or similar for a room. It may have been "operator error" but the agreement of the other readings with accuracy leads me to believe that something in this room is causing the wrong readings.
