So my wife and I have been looking for an espresso machine for a couple of years. We have always rejected competing devices in this price range because they were cheap and made of plastic. This car knocks the competition out of the water. This machine is made of stainless steel and the only plastic component I've seen is in the portafilter underneath the metal filter. I would highly recommend this over other machines in this price range as there is no plastic or need to buy disposable cups. One of the downsides is that the parts that come with this machine need to be upgraded. The tamper is made of thin plastic and comes without a cleaning brush or jug/foam thermometer. I would immediately recommend buying better add-ons. The inner diameter of the portafilter is 51 mm.
