I LOVE this coffee maker! Incredible value at a great price. I like cold-pressed coffee, but it lacks the flavor found in traditional coffee, where hot water extracts the oils from the beans. Also, cold-pressed coffee is concentrated and finding the right strength to drink can sometimes be a little tricky. In addition to instant cold coffee without waiting 12-24 hours, this is the ideal pot for hot coffee on tap for 1-3 people. It's great when the company is over and a few people want decaffeinated coffee with dessert. I've also had amazing success making both cold and hot tea with it. I brew the leaves in a mug to the desired strength, then strain the leaves into a carafe. I have told MANY people about this product. This is a great and affordable gift!
