I haven't used it for iced coffee because of the weather. Works well for hot coffee and you need paper cone filters. It comes with 30.

Fill is new to me so can't compare but I can say it was easy to use. At the moment I'm using my traditional flat coffee filters, but pleated ones work, but I'm sure a filter made properly for this will work better. It also makes good iced coffee.

I bought it on sale for less than $20 and it does everything I need. Supplied with plastic V60 on glass carafe, ice diffuser and internal ice bin are removable. I use it every day to make hot coffee and when I want to drip on ice I just add the other two parts to hold the ice. Why pay for a separate v60 and decanter when it's more versatile and cheaper!

It makes excellent coffee, hot or cold. Just don't drop the carafe like I did or you'll end up buying the whole set again - the carafe is obviously not sold individually, I couldn't find anything suitable to replace so yes I bought another one. I suppose it's good to have spare parts, but the plastic parts will probably last a lifetime if you don't lose them.

This is a great product. The coffee came out great. The only caveat is that some of the rungs can be a bit brittle. The woman accidentally knocked it on the counter. He didn't even fall to the ground. It was an easy rollover that I'm sure happens. Either bad luck or the nature of the material caused the scion to break. Pooh. This take on iced coffee is much quicker than trying to brew cold coffee, which takes several hours for the ice to melt over the ground coffee and then ooze out. This type of iced coffee is also much tastier than ceramic jar recipes where you soak the coffee in water for a few hours or overnight before filtering it for use. I LOVE this coffee maker! Incredible value at a great price. I like cold-pressed coffee, but it lacks the flavor found in traditional coffee, where hot water extracts the oils from the beans.
