Review on 🌡️ Inkbird WiFi ITC-308 Digital Temperature Controller: Advanced Aquarium Thermostat with Waterproof Sensor for Heater and Cooler by April Bailey

I bought this temperature controller for two reasons. I wanted to extend the life of my heaters and better control the temperature in the tank. This ITC-308 temperature controller did not disappoint. The item was well packaged with instructions for use. I read the quick guide that helped me download the Inkbird app. The app then walked me through the entire 10-minute setup process to connect to Wi-Fi. Once the Wi-Fi was set up I proceeded to install the aquarium temperature sensor and then hooked up the heater and cooling fan. I like my heater to heat my aquarium based on the temperature of the aquarium and not the temperature of the aquarium filter. I have my tank set at 81F with a heat differential of 1, meaning the heater will turn on at or below 80F. The fan turns on when 82F is present. I've been cycling on and off all day to make sure it's accurate and matches my magnetic thermometer. So far it's doing a great job. I love that I can check the aquarium temperature from my phone and have an alarm setting that will alert me via SMS or beep if it's too hot or too cold. The app allows me to add a picture of a fish, which is a nice touch. Maybe I'll get another one for my other aquarium.
