This works exactly as expected on a 180 (blue side) and 320 (white side) whetstone. The granularity estimate appears to be accurate. It sharpened my ax well. The bamboo box is aesthetically pleasing. It has a nice grainy pattern. The magnets are surprisingly strong and you should plan on opening this case. There is a grippy rubber base on the underside which makes a great anchoring point for the stone when using it on a table or similar. The only downside of the stone is a light shade of blue, and white does not hide anything. residual wear. The case compensates for this aesthetic disadvantage. I have included a picture of the case, rubber base and both sides of the stone after a sharpening session. a sharpening session, this is not for you. However, if like me you like a tool that gets the job done and you like a nice sharp edge, this is a great option.
