I'm one of those people who resist rapid technological change. I believe that good traditional wired on-ear headphones can't get any better than any tiny thing that kind of plugs into your ear, let alone something wireless. However, after trying these really nice headphones, I'm starting to change my mind. I'm skeptical about headphones because I've had a lot of failures, most of them due to poor low-end performance. However, given the modern wonders, fast pace of life and new normal, I decided to give these headphones a try. First impressions are good, fully sealed box in plastic wrap. After removing the foil, everything began to improve, as a pleasant interior was discovered. When I did some research on what's inside, I found a 30cm Type A to Type C (black) USB flat cable in the box. Then a solid and relatively heavy black box made of a thick foam pad around the entire perimeter appeared. After removing a few extra protective plastic sheets and opening the black box, I was quite surprised when the front panel actually caught fire. At the moment I'm curious what's in it. I quickly found the headphones on my Android phone's Bluetooth pairing screen and they were ready to pair, which is very easy. Things got even better when I tried to get the earbuds out of the black box that doubles as a charger. I'm not entirely sure if the earbuds are real metal, but they look and weigh the same as metal, with a sleek, premium black nickel finish. Definitely the heaviest (and nicest) in-ears I've tried, perhaps because of the 13mm driver inside. However, the weight is quickly forgotten when you hear the sound of it. If you're still reading, dear reader, these headphones are really, really good, period. I am aware that sound is absolutely subjective and difficult to describe. Maybe someone will disagree with me, but in fact there is a lot of bass in these headphones, to the point where I had to recalibrate what I was used to (and I like bass). After some adjustments, the sound is fairly balanced, although the highs are still a bit shortened. Perhaps because the maximum frequency response is 20kHz (not in the Hi-Res range), in contrast to the more expensive Audio Technica I use on a daily basis. Sonically, however, these are the best in-ear headphones I've tried and there are quite a few. These make me forget the famous and more expensive brands. What I still don't like is that they are touch sensitive. You can: turn the device on and off, play and pause a track, skip tracks, answer and end a call, increase and decrease the volume, reject a call and activate the voice assistant just by tapping it (in different ways, of course) . . Forgetting the fact that touch patterns need to be remembered in order to use them properly (one click for it, two clicks for it, touch and hold for 1, 2, or 4 seconds to do something, etc.) is the worst part. It's easy , accidentally touching the sensor and end up receiving an unwanted command, which is very common. It takes some time getting used to using them without messing around with the sensor. There is also a noticeable delay between touch and reaction. I still prefer the classic button, that's the way to go. Another awkward thing has to do with the material of the headphones and their use in air-conditioned rooms. These headphones get very cold when charging. It's like sticking a piece of cold metal in your ear every time you charge it; However, once warmed up, they are very comfortable. I haven't used them for work, but they're excellent for passive activities. They stay in place and cause no pain or fatigue. The battery in the headphones lasts for 4 hours of continuous playback, and the charging time is about 50 minutes. The battery in the charger offers about 5 charging cycles and charges in about 2 hours. The last thing I don't like so far is that the earbuds and charger are also fingerprint magnets. The finish is very attractive and elegant but needs constant cleaning to keep it looking good. Otherwise, if you, dear reader, can afford the premium price for these headphones, I recommend buying them. They are really worth their price.
