I bought them to use not only for the handlebars of a bicycle. They're fine for my purpose, but I doubt they're good for a motorcycle handlebar. I currently use vortex bars and clips. The difference in thickness between vortex bars and these is significant. I've crashed and wrecked my bike enough times to know (this is a road bike) that even heavy Vortex handlebars will bend in a collision. I doubt how much or how little force it would take to bend them. If you're buying them for a light, lightweight bike like a Grom or similar, they'll probably be fine. Personally, for me, the small premium that Vortex, Woodcraft, Renthal, or any other well-known brand costs is worth the money.
