Plays better than catcher

My 13 year old can do 60 miles per hour and since my husband doesn't have a full set of fishing gear this is just what we needed. I've seen other chains for around $200-250 that looked great, but I didn't want to spend that kind of money. I also wanted a 7x7 from Rukket but didn't want to wait for a 2 month delay in ordering. This 5x5 was easy to set up (took about 10 minutes) and was light enough to move around the yard, which we had to do. The first day we had it, my son threw a wild toss, completely missing the net and hitting the nearby air conditioner. Meanwhile we moved the net and put it under the tent with an extra net. (More than $, but I think we'd have the same problem with more expensive nets of the same size.) Also, I don't think a 7x7 will be able to hold all the balls in our yard. sure what "fold design" is; nothing fits together. To move this device anywhere you need to remove the grille and separate the bars (buttons). It's not something I want to install/disassemble on a regular basis - I want my son to be able to practice in our garden. The construction is strong enough and the net does its job and catches balls, I can see where the ball hits the shot zone (most of the time) and I'm glad my husband doesn't have to catch it and my son can train. In general I am very satisfied.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Upgrades
