The net is loose and catches the balls behind the black figure you see in the picture. He likes the target a lot and it's a bit smaller than his strike zone. Excellent and durable baseball training net. I live in an area with limited space so hitting plastic practice balls is the best thing I can do to train my son. A tee shot into that net was a big help.
