Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

I passed it with a 16GB RAM, Intel Core i5, and a GeForce 3060 Ti. There's room for a second RAM card, taking the maximum supported to 32GB. The previous computer's 500 GB hard drive, used primarily for archival purposes, fit the data in no time. Working with many instances of powerful IDEs like Visual Studio is manageable. RAM upgrades are necessary when dealing with resource-intensive undertakings. Sony Vegas's rendering performance is great (not personally tested to the end, only minor experiments), especially when compared to the subjectively fire-like performance of an old typewriter when generating a five-minute video. No problems were seen while playing games; even at highest settings and tracing, Cyberpunk 2077 averaged 45 frames per second, and the GPU never got hotter than 80 degrees. It's worth noting that you can disable tracer lighting in the preferences. When all lights are on, the frame rate dips to 25, which is unplayable. The OMEN Gaming Hub software (pre-installed on the Windows version) may be used to disable or alter the green backlight's operation mode. The Pavilion Gaming Desktop option can be found in the left menu, and the "Backlight" option can be found in the top menu. In sum, satisfied as a well-fed elephant with the purchase.

Pros
  • Powerful and efficient 1. Two, it's cheap in comparison. 3. It has a relatively small footprint. No, it's not simply "quiet"; you won't be able to hear it under any conditions. The green lights can also be turned off programmatically through the Omen Gaming Hub software without needing to tinker with the wiring.
Cons
  • Problems with a possible update were not mentioned, but they could arise in the future. But that's balanced out by the fact that you probably won't need an upgrade anytime in the next three to four years. One drawback is that you can't download the HP support assistant app until 2022. Furthermore, everything functioned normally for the first two days following the purchase (maybe I was "lucky" with the timing), but then everything suddenly stopped. Yes, and it's not a huge issue overall.
