Revainrating 1 out of 5

Amazing grip, no sticking UPGRADE from 5 to 1 star

Update - after 6 weeks of use. I originally gave them a 5 star rating. They remain the best "handle" texture of any material I've ever used. However, the adhesive is weak and does not stick. I used 3 strips on my phone, two on the sides and one on the back. I always carry my cell phone in my shirt pocket. I'm not a child and I don't carry the phone in my trouser pocket and I don't pick up the phone. After 4 weeks the side handles fell off, after a few weeks the rear handles fell off. If they improved the adhesive I would give them a much higher rating. Don't waste money starting now (July 2021). This rating is based on 7 days of use. I cannot confirm long term use or use in very hot weather. But in my experience it's a high quality material and I don't think there will be any problems in hot conditions. I've used everything from hockey tape to griptape to CatTounge in the past, even those sandpaper hex stickers (work great in AR stores). no cellphone). So this is how I judge this gecko grip material. Hands down, for me, gecko grips work best on mobile phones. They provide a non-slip grip when force is applied and feels soft but not sticky. They have a smooth feel, like soft leather, but have at least 5 times more "toughness" than my next favorite CatTounge grip material. CatTounge is also sold at Revain and is good, just not as grippy as the Gecko grip. Pros: 1) Super grip, especially when force is being applied, like when you're holding an object or the object is resting on a flat, hard surface. . With the Gecko Grip, the item does not slip on the surface. I carry my phone in my shirt pocket and it gives me a lot of protection from my phone falling out. I would like to address another reviewer's claim that this material is a lint magnet. Picks up some lint when carried in a pocket. Yes, it picks up more lint than other grip materials like CatTounge, but the trade-off is the grip you get without the frilled finish found with some grip materials. The best way I've found to remove lint is to use a lint roller or just a strip of duct tape. Simple solution and therefore not a problem for me Cons: Cost, is more expensive than many other materials. For me, that's not entirely a minus point, as I feel this material is worth the price. I plan on buying another pack or two in case they go away from Revain in the future. This means that the recording quality is first class, ideal for use on electronic devices, especially mobile phones. And since I paid over a thousand dollars for my phone, it's worth doing anything to protect this investment. than many other materials.
