Review on SAUTVS UTV Adjustable Folding Side View Mirrors: Clear Rear View Mirrors for Honda Talon 1000R 1000X 1000X4 2019-2021 Accessories by Mike Vargas

Let's start with the cons. I open the box and take everything out. See anything you want unless I was lucky there weren't any instructions. Who needs instructions. Couldn't wait to install them. I took them to my 2021 Honda Talon 1000x4 roll bars to see where I would place them and realized something was wrong. Note that the underside of these mirrors has a V-shaped side that faces down. No matter how I held them so that the V was properly facing down, the reflective side of the mirror was either facing forward or down. Not cool! An attempt was made to see if the clamping mechanics would allow rotation to compensate and fix this issue. nope! Only the moving part of them is for swinging in or out, especially when you're driving and a tree branch hits a mirror that's closed on the UTV's body. Brackets don't rotate. It would be a simple sheet of paper with instructions that would come in handy. After a few moments of PTSD, I decided to swap out the two clips on each mirror by removing the bolts, washers, and tension springs. Yes! This stupid idea worked. I mean, who would have thought the manufacturer installed the clips on the wrong side. Unless you decide to install those opposite sides upside down. Not! I even thought about it. So I really wanted to install them. Water also entered the bolt body. Get it right the first time. Let's get back to business. I decided to set them low and really liked the result. The interior mirror component is manually moved slightly up/down/left/right to provide the ideal viewing position. A little springy, but sufficient. For the $70 price, you can't beat it! Have some weight for them and feel solid. I got it to 40mph on the way back and the clamps didn't let me down. Fits perfectly on a 2" hanger. Looks sporty and not oversized. Really impressed with this purchase and would recommend. One star off because my neighbors had to count my f-bombs. Hope everyone else who decides does to buy them and run into the same problems can use what i did to fix them enjoy them when you get them.
