This scratching post looks so pretty in my apartment and doesn't take up much space at all. It was perfect for my location. However. That does not work! First, DOES NOT RULE. I figured this thing could be easily customized. But it adjusts to a maximum of 1 or 2 inches. It can only be set to a fixed height because they just give you another small post to advertise. The screw at the top is NOT for you to adjust. Second, the whole thing is not stable at all. It swings so much that my cat is so afraid to climb on it. Even after he sat on it, he immediately dismounted. And he would never dare climb it. He liked our previous scratching post which was also very tall and he always stayed up. I really want this scratching post to work. But unfortunately not, so I returned it.
