Review on Remanufactured Cardone 52-7370 Hydraulic Power Brake Booster - No Master Cylinder by Charles Fowler

The brake lights and cruise control stopped working!

There was a hole missing in the bracket for a small bolt on the firewall. I had to drill a hole to screw the part. I found that my cruise control and brake lights no longer work. This is because the end of the push rod fork is not properly machined and therefore the brake switch does not work. Did you see from the photos that the original block has a machined face while the Cardone part is a raw casting? This is the mounting area for the brake switch and must be the exact distance from the center of the mounting pin on the brake pedal. This is a major safety issue and now I'm stuck because there are no brake lights.
