Remanufactured Cardone 52-7370 Hydraulic Power Brake Booster - No Master Cylinder Review

Booster bought and only installed a month later. It was found that one of the inlets was smaller than the other, so the part was defective. I contacted Cardone and was told there was nothing they could do other than give me another refresher. I explained that I didn't need another amp because I was supposed to buy one from AutoZone yesterday. I was told that nothing could be done. This is what I get when I buy a non-genuine product! I will never buy from these guys again!

The mounting bracket was missing a hole for a small post on a firewall. I had to drill a hole to screw the part. I found that my cruise control and brake lights no longer work. This is because the end of the push rod fork is not properly machined and therefore the brake switch does not work. Did you see from the photos that the original block has a machined face while the Cardone part is a raw casting? This is the mounting area for the brake switch and must be the exact distance from the center

Absolutely terrible customer service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THE CARDONE Update. Shortly after installation I noticed that this unit was leaking power steering fluid from the fitting in Fig. I don't know if it's under warranty. If not, don't buy from A1 Cardone Hydroboost works as expected. During the overhaul, the threads of one of the high-pressure lines got stuck. The quality of the replacement part was good. There are no complaints. Comes with installation instructions which were helpful but I recommend watching the tutorial video or asking for help if you are not used to making major repairs to your car, particularly those involving braking and power steering systems.
