I've been using old cork straps for years. I tried this band and it feels so good. I like its grip and the padding is very comfortable. It's not too thick, but definitely not thin either. It is thicker than cork straps. The length of tape is good as I cut off about 2 inches to cover the brake cover areas which still left enough tape to cover my old school 44cm Cinelli bars. It's not very stretchy and has glue in the middle. Ribbon. The problem I have with the tape is winding up the brake caps. Maybe I just need a tutorial on how to do it efficiently, but I'll never get it done without about 10 tries. It took a while and with 2 pieces covering the back of the handlebars where the brake lever attaches it looks good. The tape used to finish off the bar tape was good; light, elastic, flexible and long enough to cover the barbell. This is so much better than my old way of using duct tape to finish off the bar tape. I will definitely recommend this cassette to my friends. The black carbon pattern is a nice touch and looks cool too.
