Enough for what I need

I bought this unit to replace an aging tablet and a broken MacBook Pro. I wanted something that I would use almost exclusively for quick online tasks or surfing while watching TV. It really fits the bill. The boot times with SSD and Chrome OS are sensational. I used to be afraid to use the computer for quick, simple tasks, but now I just pull it out of my Acer. There are some elements to get used to. I'm having issues with Citrix because my company doesn't have the latest and greatest version that comes with the HTML5 release. It seems that Chrome OS is missing some basic settings that I want to change. For example, Acer turns on whenever you lift the screen. It makes sense, but it took me a while to get used to it when I just wanted to clean my screen or keyboard. And finally, as I'm sure you know, Chrome OS cannot install programs outside of the Chrome browser. I was aware of this, but I wished several times that the operating system could at least run very simple programs in an emulated environment. Acer C720 looks stylish and not very catchy. The keyboard feels a bit cheap compared to all the others I've used, but you get what you paid for. I was really surprised to find a full size HDMI port that allows the computer to display on an external display like a monitor or HDTV. I've actually used this feature more than any other, but it's also great to have two USB ports located on EACH side of the computer. Using Chrome OS and Acer C720 is very interesting. Google regularly releases new updates to Chrome OS that add new features and functionality, and more and more developers are creating apps specifically for this operating system.
