So I work in IT and this confuses me. Initially, these converters were purchased for the library. I tested all of the connections on a monitor that only had a Displayport output and they all worked using a direct Displayport cable to a compatible monitor. When trying to set up adapters with current monitors, about half of these worked. I decided to take the non-working ones and try them on several working computers and they all worked. All hardware and BIOS settings were identical. In fact, all disks have been cloned, except for the names of devices on the network. It's time to embrace dedicated graphics cards with a VGA connector to get some of them working. I keep the rest I have in case I find a computer that needs it and it works.
