I bought this pillow to protect the small sleepiness pillow my daughter has been enjoying for almost a year. It was used to prevent vomiting and it worked! I was able to pick up the pillow, remove the sticky cover, and she returned her pillow while I took care of the rest. The duvet was cleaned well with vinegar (vomit's mortal enemy) and returned for another night. Another reviewer mentioned that it protects against peeping, so I'd like to add vomit as well! And there was dairy involved, and after washing, there weren't even any stains or odors left. I would add that the sleeping pillow has withstood vomiting and has been washed just as well (washed a lot). But then my daughter had to wait for it to dry. This blanket has helped me get her back to bed faster when she got sick! Very satisfied with this company and their products!
